West Leeds Community Media, the community-run company behind the West Leeds Dispatch, is holding its first annual general meeting in a few weeks’ time.
WLCM is a company limited by guarantee and was formally incorporated in June last year. The AGM will see WLCM review its accounts, progress so far as it moves towards becoming a self-sustaining company, and vote for board members and a chairperson.
There will also be some free food and hot/soft drinks on the evening – and a chance to chat after the formal proceedings.
We’ll also be launching a new supporters’ scheme on the night in a bid to raise funds for the social enterprise – so watch this space!
The event, which all are welcome to attend, will take place at New Wortley Community Centre on Tong Road on Monday, September 10 at 7pm.
